Please be aware that Public Works and their contractors continue to work on sanitary sewer repairs crossing the Cowan Blvd. area between Snowden Hills Blvd. and Hospital Drive – and this area of Cowan Blvd. will remain closed to through traffic for some time.
We would like to make everyone aware that at least 6 buses are going to be affected as well as anyone that needs to use Cowan Blvd to access Hugh Mercer. Please use caution in the area and follow temporary signage.
Remember, Spot My Bus is a great app to track your student’s bus. Thank you in advance for your patience.

🎉Congratulations to our esteemed school board, who witnessed the return of Mr. Jarvis Bailey and welcomed Mrs. Molly McFadden!
Mr. Bailey and Mrs. McFadden took their School Board Oath of Office yesterday, January 2, 2024, at the Fredericksburg Courthouse and were sworn in by Judge Gordon Willis. Mr. Bailey has proudly served on the Board since 2007.
We look forward to their support of our FCPS faculty, staff, students, and families.
We are also grateful for Mrs. Jannan Holmes, who honorably served on our school board from 2010-2023. Today she also took an Oath of Office and will serve on the Fredericksburg City Council.

Hey students! Just a friendly reminder that the final countdown to school is on - January 4th is around the corner! 🗓️ Make the most of these last few days of freedom, whether it's late-night gaming, Netflix marathons, or just soaking up that winter break bliss. ❄️🎮
Let's celebrate the memories we've made and gear up for an amazing return to the school hustle. 🚀💪 Here's to an epic finish to the break and an even more incredible start to the new year! 🎉

Hey JM family, let's take a moment to really enjoy our break and think about all of the teachers we miss. Whether you're off exploring new places, cozying up at home, or just catching up on some Zs, we miss each and every one of you! 😢🧡 The halls are a bit too quiet without your laughter and adventures.
Let's keep the spirit alive, even if we're miles apart. 🌍💖 Can't wait to reunite and swap stories when school's back in session. Until then, we hope you enjoy all of the smiling faces! 🤗🌈 #WinterBreak #MissingJMFriends 🌟
