Celebrating Our Librarians on School Librarian Day!
Libraries are full of adventures, and Ms. Rabatin loves exploring both in books and in real life! Over spring break, she traveled to New Mexico, where she sledded down the breathtaking gypsum dunes of White Sands National Park. Now, she’s diving into A Map is Only One Story, a powerful collection of personal essays exploring migration, identity, and the experience of living between two cultures.
Stop by the library and ask Ms. Rabatin for a great book recommendation, she’s always ready to help students find their next literary adventure!

Happy School Librarian Day! Today, we celebrate our amazing librarians and the incredible work they do to foster a love of reading in our students!
Ms. Cobey is currently reading Raising Hare: A Memoir by Chloe Dalton. This unique story explores the life of a busy politician who rescues and befriends a baby hare found near her home. Ms. Cobey, an avid reader and nature lover, is especially enjoying the book’s deep dive into the world of hares. When she’s not reading, you can often find her exploring the outdoors with her dog, Joey!
Be sure to thank Ms. Cobey for all she does to make our library a welcoming and inspiring space!

Celebrating Mrs. Young! This past Saturday, March 22, our very own Mrs. Young was honored at the 6th Annual "Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things" Awards Ceremony as a 2025 Recipient!
OWDET recognizes incredible women who make a meaningful impact in the lives of others, and Mrs. Young is the perfect example of that! She goes above and beyond for the students at JM, both those on her caseload and beyond making a lasting difference every day.
This year’s ceremony was extra special, taking place right here at JM, with Mrs. Young looking absolutely stunning! She was celebrated by family, friends, and even Dr. Harris and his wife, who joined in the festivities.
If you see Mrs. Young this week, be sure to congratulate her on this well-deserved honor! #ExtraordinaryWomen #JM #WellDeserved #Women #Extraordinary #celebrate

Ms. S’s Advanced English 9 class ditched the desks and took their writing outside today! Their challenge? Observe the world around them and bring it to life with words. From rustling leaves to passing clouds, students used their surroundings to practice descriptive writing in a whole new way. Hands-on learning at its best!

Big smiles and even bigger hearts today! Some of our JM students stopped by to hang out with our amazing preschoolers, and it was filled with full of laughter, learning, and connections.
It wasn’t just fun and games, it was about learning from each other. Our high schoolers gained a deeper understanding of empathy and patience, while our little ones enjoyed making new friends. Moments like these remind us how powerful connection can be.
We're proud of our students for showing up with open hearts and making a difference, one small moment at a time! Thank you to Ms. Noakes and Ms. Torres for welcoming the students. #JM #LearningTogether #Connections #Fun #students

We are continuing to celebrate Social Workers week!
Today, we recognize the incredible impact of social workers, and we’re celebrating Jennifer Bunn, whose dedication to supporting our students and families makes a world of difference!
Jennifer is not only a compassionate advocate for others, but she’s also a proud mom of two high school daughters. With her oldest preparing to graduate and head off to college this fall, she jokes that if you see her walking around teary-eyed, now you’ll know why!
Join us in thanking Jennifer for all she does to uplift and support our school community! #SocialWorkers #ThankYou #HeartOfOurSchools #JM
