It's Throwback Thursday! Can you guess who is the staff member in the photo? It's our very own Ms. Michelle Young. JM's so lucky to have her as an administrator. Here is a little info on Ms. Young: I was born into a family of civil servants who epitomized integrity, the fight for justice, and valued the rewards of hard work. My parents' and grandparents' passion for these values manifested itself through their work in community service, church, and law enforcement. This week, Preschool Programs had 3M film installed on the front windows of the building. All FCPS entrance windows will have protective 3M film installed to help delay intruders and prevent flying glass shards. This initiative is just one part of our layered approach to safety.

Congratulations to our inaugural members of the National Latin Honor Society! This year they proudly started a new chapter of the National Latin Honor Society! With graduation last week we wanted to celebrate them. On May 17, they held inductions for their first cohort of seniors: Taja Fuller, Amelia Garman, Margaret Lacy, Alyssa Layton, Phoeboe Martin-Cole, and Della Pomeroy. These outstanding students maintained a 90%+ average for the last three terms and demonstrated excellent character and scholarship.
